For the past 27 years, Pastor David and Monica Carlyle have served as worship pastors, national evangelists, and now Lead Pastors of the Ark Church. As Lead Pastors, their heart and vision is to love, equip, and empower the church to have a passionate, destiny driven desire to serve God. In a world that is so unstable and a culture that seeks understanding, identity, and acceptance, their assignment in this hour is to lead the body of Christ through Biblical solidarity, character, integrity, and unwavering faith.
Pastor Jonathan & Melissa Zafra
Hispanic Ministry Pastors
For 26 years, Pastor Jonatan and Melissa Zafra have been living on the Outer Banks, and have served in the Ark Church for the last 7. They joined the chuch in 2000, and after hearing the call of the Lord to go back to school for Pastoral Leadership, Pastor Jonatan became associate pastor for the Ark Church Español service in 2014. Together, the couple have three kids and serve together leading the church to reach the community with the message of life, the transformation power of Jesus Christ, and develop fervent followers of the Lord.
Pastor Joel & Bethany Overton
Student Ministry Pastors
Joel and Bethany Overton have been born and bred in the Outer Banks. The local duo does not only act as Pastors for our Dominion Takers Student Ministry and Skating Ministry but also as First Flight FCA huddle leaders. The two are dedicated to pouring out and encouraging the youth in our community to be leaders for the glory of God right where they are!
We believe it is both a blessing and a responsibility to invest in our upcoming generations. We pray that you will get connected in our church to benefit your relationship with Christ, your family, and our community!
